DIY Hand Soap!

Hand soap is such a simple product, but if you have ever read the label — it can contain some harmful stuff. So when your next bottle runs out why not try this easy and affordable recipe instead. This recipe makes a great soap that lathers nicely. It’s thinner (more like the consistency you see in a soap pump) but a little bit goes a long way. You can even customize your DIY soap with your favorite essential oils to get your hands smelling fresh!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup castile soap
  • 1 tsp vegetable glycerin
  • 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oils

Directions:

  1. In your soap pump mix all the ingredients – give it a little shake! It’s that simple!

Some great scent combinations to try:

  • Almond castile soap and vanilla essential oil for a sweet scent
  • Lemon, orange, and tangerine essential oils for a zesty citrus scent
  • Eucalyptus and lavender essential oil for a calming smell

What are your favorite soap scents?
