Green Spring Cleaning: The Almighty All-Purpose Cleaner

Every spring cleaner needs a great all-purpose spray. Here is an eco-friendly recipe using ingredients from our last post on stocking your spring cleaning arsenal.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 24 oz spray bottle
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of castile soap
  • 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
  • A few drops of your favorite essential oil (s). Try lemongrass for a refreshing scent, or tea tree oil for its antibacterial properties.

To make the spray simply:

  • Add the baking soda, castile soap, vinegar, and essential oil (optional) to the spray bottle and mix.
  • Fill the rest of the spray bottle with hot water and shake.

You can use this spray to clean most surfaces, except glass. Do you have another recipe for all-purpose sprays you like to use? Try this one out and let us know what you think!
